The company ‘HO.RE.CA Made in Puglia’ was founded with the aim of promoting ‘Made in Italy’ food, wine and agricultural products, entirely guaranteed to be produced and cultivated in Italy, in the catering and hotel sector.
Authentic ‘Made in Italy’ products are a fundamental element of the HO.RE.CA sector worldwide. However, consumers are increasingly being offered counterfeit ‘Italian-sounding’ agri-food products which, although not produced in Italy, are sold with names, labels, graphics and packaging reminiscent of the Italian flag and are ‘Italian-style food’. As a result, buyers and consumers mistakenly believe that they have purchased a genuine ‘Made in Italy’ product.
HO.RE.CA Made in Puglia is an innovative business model in the catering and hotel sector with the aim of preserving and promoting Italian cuisine and Italian products through the following business channels:
B2B. The products of the Italian manufacturer are sold directly through its own distribution network to operators in the HO.RE.CA sector, without the involvement of intermediary importers.
B2G. The Italian manufacturer's production is launched with government support in a country with natural, high-quality raw materials using the Italian manufacturer's technology and is sold directly through its own distribution network to participants in the HO.RE.CA. sector

It is a mechanism through which the producer of Made in Italy excellence, thanks to the company Horeca Made in Puglia, promotes the consolidation and economic-commercial development of our companies in foreign markets.

- promoting the progress and development of Made in Italy SME sales abroad in full compliance with laws and regulations;
- represent, protect and assist member SMEs in their relations with institutions and administrations abroad, with economic, political and trade union organisations and with all other components of society;
- contribute to promoting initiatives with institutions and economic, political, social and cultural organisations to pursue broader growth and development goals, without prejudice to the autonomy and interests of individual members;
- provide information, consulting, and assistance services to businesses on all issues related to modern business management. By way of example and without limitation:
- developing the internationalization of Italian SMEs, as well as the marketing of Italian companies' goods and services in international markets, and cooperation to build bridges of knowledge, innovation, and sustainable development;
- support and encourage companies in their internationalization processes and, more generally, in the development of their business;
- promoting Italian cultural heritage abroad, developing new opportunities for collaboration, and opening new export routes for Apulian products of excellence.
